Prediction of airflow pattern in gascollecting hood of primary settling tank in sewage plants and studies on ventilation schemes

Simulates the 3D air turbulent flow in gascollecting hood of primary settling tank of a sewage treatment plant with finite volume method and SIMPLE algorithm. Studies the effect of several factors, including shape, location and sizes of inlets, and location of outlets etc, on the velocity fields. Draws some qualitative conclusions according to the analysis of flow characteristics of different flow fields.
